KOZHIKODE: CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan has said that those who oppose the ADB loan were dogmatists and there are other agendas behind the opposition.
Addressing the seminar on ‘Contributions of EMS to the Kerala Society’ organised by the EMS Chair for Marxian Studies at the Calicut University on Monday, Vijayan discounted the allegations that some individuals in the CPM are going after the ADB loan.
The party decided to accept the loan following the guidelines of the 18th party congress, Pinarayi said.
Some Naxalites and social activists are opposing the loan from a dogmatic standpoint, he added.
They are trying to isolate the CPM from the people. Those who do not have any commitment to the people can take any stand, he said. T K Narayanan presided over the session.
