Railway passenger found dead

KOZHIKODE: A 49-year-old man, who was travelling in Malabar Express from Thiruvananthapuram to Mangalore, was found dead in the train at Kozhikode railway station here on the wee hours of Wednesday.



The deceased is identified as M G Bupta, hailing from Mangalore. It is alleged that the railway authorities did not turn up to provide primary aid to Bupta, who suffered chest pain, though fellow passengers informed the authorities a couple of times.



The Kozhikode Medical College authorities confirmed that Bupta died following cardiac arrest. Body has been handed over to the relatives.
