Kozhikode: A meeting of the Corporation council has decided to strictly enforce the ban on begging in the city limits. The help of the police department would be sought to enforce the ban.
The Mayor would also hold talks with State Government officials on setting up a rehabilitation centre for beggars on the lines of the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation.
