KOZHIKODE: The PNB will offer 9.50 pc for fixed deposits for one year under its PNB Maha Bachat scheme.
The minimum deposit should be Rs.25,000, for which the interest is payable on monthly and quarterly basis as per option of the depositors. Senior citizens will get 0.25 pc extra.
The annualised yield works out to 11.40 percent for general public and 11.75 pc for senior citizens. The rate of interest for 2 year is 9.25 pc and for 3 years is 9 pc with additional 0.25 pct for senior citizens. The offer is available till April 30.
