KOZHIKODE: Public on Thursday prevented the Roads and Bridges Development Corporation of Kerala Ltd from slapping toll on rail overbridges at Meenchantha and Vellayil.
A large number of people belonging to various organisations and political parties thwarted the move of the officials to erect toll booths at both places, where government undertaking has built rail overbridges.
