Introduction

                  Statistics is an indispensable tool for management studies. The past two decades have witnessed a strong surge of interest in statistical methods from management community. Due to the rapid progress in computer technology and the need for handling complex models, researchers ranging from statisticians to financial analysts now face new challenges in management research. The aim of this conference is provide a forum for the presentation of recent developments in statistical methodology and its novel applications in management. We hope to bring together probabilists, statisticians, engineers, operations researchers, market researchers, financial analysts, economists, and most importantly, interested research scholars, to share the exciting developments, to foster new ideas, and to stimulate the exchange of information between theoretician and practitioners.

Submission of abstracts

Instructions

• Abstracts should be submitted electronically in WORD format as an attachment.
• Size: Single A4 page (up to 250 words)
• Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides of the page.
• Title: In single space. Each word, except for connecting words, should start with a capital letter.
• Text: The body of the abstract, in 12 point type, should be 1.5-spaced and fully justified.
• E-mail: icsaim2008@iimk.ac.in
• Once the abstract is accepted, the authors have to submit a hard copy of the full-length paper.

The registration fee for the conference is as follows.

Please note:

1. The registration fee includes boarding and lodging at IIMK Campus, and conference kit.
2. Students should produce their proof of identity at the time of submitting registration form.
3. The payment is to be made by a Demand Draft in favor of Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, payable at Kozhikode, along with the duly filled in registration form. The registration fee is non-refundable.
