Debt Relief Bill for fisher folk in next session: Sharma

 In a sigh of relief to the fishermen community, Fisheries Minister S Sharma has announced that a debt relief Bill for the fisher folk will be presented in the next Assembly session.

 

Addressing the Assembly committee meeting on 'fishermen and allied workers' welfare' at the Collectorate here on Saturday, he said the Bill would be introduced on the lines of debt relief Bill for farmers.

 

"The government is aiming to assure security to the life of fisher folk through the Bill," he said.
