A 38-YEAR-OLD Indian national, identified as Rafeeq Puthanpurayil died of heart attack at his home in the early hours yesterday.
The deceased had come from Kunnummakara, Vatakara in Kerala's Kozhikode district.
Rafeeq was running his father-in-law Moossa's restaurant near Ain Khalid Roundabout, Salwa Road for almost 10 years. Moossa has been in living in Qatar for the past 30 years.
Rafeeq's body was flown home last night. Funeral prayers were held at the Hamad Hospital Mortuary in the presence of a large gathering. He leaves behind his wife Khadeeja and 3 children.
