KOZHIKODE: The contributions of EMS to Kerala society will be the theme of a three-day seminar being organised by the EMS Chair for Marxian Studies and Research at Calicut University from Monday.
Twelve sessions will be held to discuss the multi-faced personality of E.M.S. Namboodiripad, the former Chief Minister and Marxist ideologue. Speakers at the seminar will highlight the contributions of the Marxist leader to campaigns for upliftment of women, anti-imperialist struggles, agriculture, literature and journalism, and his role as an administrator, economist, and educationist.
