Koyilery mishap toll rises to 4

MANANTHAVADI: The death toll in the accident at Koyilery rose to four
with one more person, admitted to the Medical College Hospital in
Kozhikode, succumbing to injuries on Tuesday.

The deceased, Ajithkumar, 27, a native of Kutta in Karnataka, is the
grandson of Subaiyya, former MLA of Kutta.

His mother Leela Bhaskar was one among the victims in Monday's mishap.

The last rites of Leela, 42, wife of Bhaskar; and M R Pandy, a lottery
agent, took place on Monday at Kutta. The body of Abdulrahman, 40, the
jeep driver, was buried at the Juma Masjid Kabarsthan, Tholpetti, on
Tuesday.

The condition of two more persons admitted to Kozhikode Medical
College is critical, according to hospital staff.
