KOZHIKODE: The National Youth League (NYL), the youth wing of the INL, has demanded a detailed inquiry into the revelations made by an accused in Marad case through his letter to an MLA and urged the Government to arrest the real culprits behind the massacre.
“The revelations are that majority of those under trial in the case are innocent. The government should take immediate measures for the release of these innocent people,” NYL president NK Abdul Azeez and general secretary C Ahamed Anvar told reporters here on Saturday.
The NYL activists would take out a march and organise a public meeting here on February 20 raising these demands.
