KOZHIKODE: Glad news for Non-Resident Keralites (NRKs) in Gulf countries. A guidance centre for them has started functioning in Kozhikode.
The Vincent Corporate Consultancy on the Link Road, first one of its kind in Malabar, will cater to those who want to settle down in Kerala after their stint in Gulf and those who are seeking jobs out there.
The brain behind this venture is M Gangadharan, who worked as a contract administrator-cum-personnel manager with Arabian Supply Architecture Company.
“When I was in Gulf, I had the opportunity to meet many Keralites who were betrayed after being promised a job in reputed companies. They all ended up as domestic labourers,” he says.
It is their sad plight that made Gangadharan to set up the centre with an aim to guide the jobseekers in finding a suitable job, and to protect them from such frauds.
Another aim of the centreis to help and guide the NRKs in settling down back here, he says.
