Thiruvananthapuram, March 14. (PTI): The 'Haj House' being built near Kozhikode International Airport would be completed before the next pilgrimage season, Kerala Minister in charge of Waqf affairs Paloli Muhammadkutty said on Tuesday.
The facility being built at a cost of Rs 4.5 crore would house a namaz hall, dormitory for 1000 pilgrims, dining hall, emigration clearance counters and a Haj committee office, he informed the State Assembly.
Of the total cost, Rs one crore was the state's share, Rs 1.5 crore provided by the Central Haj committee and the rest raised as donations from individuals and voluntary organisations.
