KOZHIKODE: A seminar on the Domestic Violence Act, jointly organised by the Anweshi and the Kerala Sthree Vedi, on Saturday, exhorted women to seek assistance under the Act whenever it becomes necessary.
The seminar also reminded that women should use the Act with discretion and should not make it as a weapon against their husbands.
The seminar was inaugurated by Anweshi president K Ajitha. Kerala Sthree Vedi state convener Sonia George presided.
