MDP on Discovering Self, July 02-04, 2007

Target Participants:

Middle and Senior Level Managers.

Objectives:

The hassle of everyday living rarely gives an opportunity for introspection and self reflection. This program aims to provide such a space and context for self discovery. The premise is on discovery, acceptance and celebration of multiple facets of one's self with focus on interactions with the family, work, organization and the society. The workshop will enable participants to identify patterns in their life and their influences on relationships, aspirations, careers and choice making. The aim is to initiate a journey of self exploration. Using the potential of imagination and appreciation, faculty will enable participants to crystallize a personal vision and an action statement.

Coverage/Topics:

The program would address the following questions

"Who am I?"
"What is the purpose of my life?"
"What do I value in me?"
"What is my personal vision?"

Pedagogy:

The program would be based on self reflection, interactions, role plays, simulations facilitated by the faculty. The workshop is founded on human processes, facilitation, imagination and appreciative inquiry.

Additional Information:

The program is fully residential with shared accommodation. No dress code, preferably semi formals.

Date & Venue:

This programme will be held during July 02 – 04, 2007 at IIMK Campus, Kunnamangalam, Calicut. Accommodation will be provided on a twin sharing basis in the IIMK Guest House.

Nomination forms duly filled along with the Course Fee should reach the MDP Office latest by June 22, 2007.

Fee : Rs.20,000.00 (Only residential)

The fee is to be paid in advance by Demand Draft in favour of "Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode" payable at "Calicut". The fee includes course material, working lunch, breakfast & dinner.

Payments to IIMK are exempted from deduction of Tax vide Letter No. AAAAJ1012Q/ACIT/Cir-2(1)06-07 dated 12th April, 2007 issued by Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax, Circle-2(1), Kozhikode.
