KOZHIKODE: After a gap of two years, Farook College regained the overall championship in the Calicut Univeristy Inter-Zone Arts Festival.
The reigning champion, St. Joseph's College, Devagiri, had to be content with the second place, while the Government College, Chittoor, finished third. Farook College finished with 156 points, and the other two 123 and 63, as the curtains came down on the festival at Government Medical College here on Friday. Sithara Krishnakumar of Farook College won the Kalathilakam title, while A.V. Abhishek of IES Engineering College, Chittilappally became the Kalaprathibha.
